St. Joseph and Michael's Church suffered the tragedy of a fire that damaged the entire structural integrity of the roof trusses and the interior. It wasn't long before the $6,000,000.00 restoration of Phase 1 & 2 began. Phase 1 started with removing the charred deteriorated roof trusses, replacing with new trusses, and roof. Not long after the structure was stabilized, phase 2 restoration began. A full interior gut job was underway. All new HVAC, electric, plastering, painting, organ, porcelain tile floor, altar, pews, steeple, sound system, bathrooms, window replacement, exterior restoration, sidewalks, and parking lot.
